Who we are

This website, kareegarbros.com, is run by Kareegar Bros, [type of business], of Gala No. 74/A, Shivaji Kutir Mandal, Mandir Wala Lane, LBS Marg, Kurla West, Mumbai 400070. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Kareegar Bros.

What we collect

• What you type into our forms. When you send a message or a quote list, we receive your name, phone number, and anything else you choose to add: company, email, city or PIN code, and your message.
• Your quote list. The products and quantities you add stay in your own browser until you send or clear the list. We only receive them when you send the list to us.
• Basic technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or any tool that builds a profile of you.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare and follow up on your quote, and arrange site visits or delivery if you order. We rely on your consent, which you give by sending the form. We do not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Who else handles it

A few service providers handle data for us, only to run this website and deliver your enquiry:

• Vercel Inc. hosts the website.
• Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox by email.
• Google (Gmail) hosts our business email, where enquiries are kept.
• Cloudflare forwards mail sent to our @kareegarbros.com addresses to that inbox.
• Fontshare (Indian Type Foundry) serves the typeface used on this site, so your browser connects to its servers and shares your IP address.
• Google Maps shows the map on our contact page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
• WhatsApp, only if you choose to message us there. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy then applies.

Some of these providers store or process data outside India. We may also share information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid request from a government authority.

Cookies

We do not set cookies. Your quote list is saved in your browser’s local storage, which you can clear at any time. The Google Maps embed on the contact page may set Google’s cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you become a customer, we keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• correct or complete it
• delete it, or withdraw your consent, though we may then be unable to answer your enquiry
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or are unable to

Write to our grievance officer (below). We will reply within 2 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the people who handle enquiries can see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
